Subject: Stop tracking the nightshift working notes

These are a log of how the work got done, not part of the project. They also
carry running commentary from the sessions that produced them, which does not
belong in a public repository.

The files stay on disk. This removes them from tracking and ignores them from
here on; it does not remove them from earlier commits.
